COOKIES: WHAT ARE THEY?

A cookie is a text file created during the navigation on Web sites that is stored on your computer by your browser.

Their purpose, in most cases, is to store information in order to improve the use of the website you are visiting, in the case of web sites that allow the login to a private area, they allow you to log in automatically by invoking the stored cookie. The same also applies when you write comments in which the email is mandatory.

Other cookies may be used to improve individual features of the web site, such as preferences, searches and other activities that are identified by third party cookies in order to allow you to use for example the social networks via sharing buttons.

By using the site, you agree that “proprietary” and “Third Party” cookies, indicated in the “List of cookies used” below are installed on your device.

Disabling the saving of some or all cookies, the navigability of the site (or certain sections of it) could be compromised or limited by the absence of functionality.

It is possible to avoid storing cookies on my computer? Yes

Each browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari) allows you to set cookie preferences.

There are several ways to manage cookies, for example you can: enable or completely disable the cookies; delete specific cookies that have already been stored inside your browser; block the storage of cookies on your computer by specific Web sites; or block third party cookies (when, while you navigate on a Web site, cookies are stored on your computer by another Web site).

Each browser has its own kind of cookie handling, in the administration panel or on the preferences panel you can edit/manage the parameters and proceed to the cancellation.

You can also find here more information on the handling of cookies and relative cancellation on the different browsers: www.aboutcookies.org

To disable the use of all or only some cookies, it is necessary to change the settings of the browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.).

Usually the browsers are pre-set to accept cookies, unless they are configured by you in a different way.
